Vinod has been an Executive Director of Karimjee Group since 2013 and Group Managing Director since 2014.

He is a qualified Chartered Accountant from India who joined the Group as Director of Finance in 2004. He has spent over 35 years in the corporate sector, managing businesses in India and Tanzania and as a wealth of experience in finance, treasury and risk management, business strategy and planning, new business development and operations/processes. From 2002-2003 Vinod was a member of the International Affairs Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, India and since 2014 has been an executive committee member of the Indian Business Forum in Tanzania. Vinod has a deep-rooted interest in philanthropy and is a Director of the Food for Life programme that feeds school children in Tanzania and is a managing trustee of the ORR Foundation in Delhi providing scholarships and support to educational institutions across India.
