Husein has been a Director of Karimjee Group since 2013. Husein has over 16 years of experience in international trade, with a focus on procurement and supply chain management.

He began his career in 2003 with KJUK out of London and was then instrumental in setting up Onyx in the UAE in 2005. As Managing Director, Onyx went on to expand operations both geographically and across product segments with multiple joint ventures across Africa, including Senegal, Guinea Bissau and Sudan. Husein brings a wealth of experience in trade risk. Husein has a Bachelor’s degree in Computing & Management from the University of Leeds and earned an MBA with distinction from Cass Business School in 2014.
